IONOL® K72 is a 100% active synergistic blend of minimum 72% 2,4-dimethyl-6-tert-butylphenol and 28% other butylated phenols. IONOL® K72 is an effective antioxidant and is mainly used as such in aviation fuels and in certain refinery catalytic-cracked streams.

IONOL® K72 conforms to the requirements of British Defense Standard 91/91, also listed as RDE/A/611.
