Oxidation has many undesirable effects on imported, processed and packaged foodstuffs. They include adverse colour changes, spoilage/waste, adverse physical changes, rancidity and deterioration of nutritional content.
Adding IONOL® CP helps keep food fresh, appetizing and nourishing. It is used in a wide range of foodstuffs, including biscuits, cereals, fats, oils, chewing gum, meat products and poultry. IONOL® CP meets health and safety requirements, such as the analytical requirements of the Food Chemical Codex (FCC) and has international approvals for addition to food intended for human consumption. Its long established use as an acceptable food additive is indicated by its E number: E321.

Oxidation deteriorates the proteins, carbohydrates, fats, mineral supplements and vitamins in animal feeds. IONOL® CPA is an antioxidant containing an anti-caking agent, specially designed for animal feeds
